Colorado Aids Project

Colorado AIDS Project (CAP) was founded in 1983 as the first community-wide response to the HIV/AIDS crisis that was devastating the Denver metro area. Today, CAP continues as the largest community based organization responding to the ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis in Colorado by offering vital services through the CAP Wellness Resource Center (WRC), Housing Services Center (HSC), and the Prevention and Education Center (PEC).

 

Project Angel Heart

Project Angel Heart promotes the health, dignity and self-sufficiency
of people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing nutritious, home-delivered meals with care and compassion.


Denver PFLAG

PFLAG Denver is one of nearly 500 chapters or contacts in the U.S. that belong to the Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays national organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

The National Center for Lesbian Rights is a national legal organization committed to advancing the civil and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families through litigation, public policy advocacy, and public education.


 

The Center

The mission of The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of Colorado is to engage, empower, and enrich the GLBT Community in Colorado. The Center is the only statewide, nonprofit community center dedicated to providing support and advocacy for Colorado's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) population. They serve as a catalyst for community organizing, support services, social activities and cultural events.
